My Vavamojo Story

I saw on your website that the Vava's were inviting folks to send in their Mojo stories.  Even if you do not use my story on your website, I just need to share it with you guys:

For the past seven years I have been living in a terrible relationship.  Things started out just fine, as most relationships do, but after we had been together for a few years, and our son was born, things just went south.  Fast!  We realized that we really don't love each other, and he became very distant and cold towards me. The fact that my son has a learning disablility coupled with hyperactivity did not make things any better. We tried to make things work for the sake of our son, but recently we have come to our senses and come to terms with the fact that we just can't make it and need to break up for good.  This is actually good news because we are doing this amicably and we know that we make better friends than we do partners.

Now here comes the good part of the story. My son's father works for a fashion magazine. Just before he moved out, he came home with a bunch of beauty samples and some things that were left over from photo shoots.  (Every so often, the magazine sells these types of things to the employees.)  Amongst the creams, soaps and perfumes I found this little red bag with an oddly shaped charm in it.  I had no idea what it was, but I thought it was simply beautiful.  I looked it over carefully and found the word Vavamojo imprinted on the back.  So, of course, I got online to try to find out what this thing was all about.  I came across your website and immediately identified my gift as a Prince Charming charm!  How exquisite!

Very shortly after I began wearing my charm I met the most wonderful man, and believe me when I tell you, I was not looking!  He and I are taking things very slowly, but I have to admit that I think in my heart of hearts that he may actually be the one I have been waiting for all of my life.  Not only is he kind and funny, but he treats me like a queen and he loves my son.  Now, I don't know what the future holds for me and my new "Prince Charming," but you better believe this Vavamojo charm is never leaving my sight!

I thought it was just amazing that the last thing my son's father gave me before he left my life was this little charm that, I believe, helped me find the "right" guy.  Thanks, Vavamojo!  This charm has made a believer out of me!
